Shimano Thunnus CI4 - Lightweight Power for Live Bait and Big Game Fishing
The Shimano Thunnus CI4 redefines the balance between lightweight design and raw stopping power, delivering a high-performance spinning reel engineered for anglers who refuse to compromise. Drawing inspiration from Shimano's bicycle division, the Thunnus CI4 utilizes advanced carbon CI4+ materials in critical high-impact areas, creating a reel that is remarkably light yet capable of handling the most aggressive big game fish.
Weighing up to 7 ounces less than its predecessor, this reel maintains exceptional strength while introducing upgraded primary and baitrunner drag systems. These innovations provide smooth, reliable drag performance, giving anglers precise control when battling tuna, amberjack, or other pelagic species.
Renowned as one of the most efficient live bait spinning reels, the Thunnus CI4 excels in diverse fishing conditions - from inshore trolling to offshore live bait applications. Its baitrunner feature allows for seamless line release, while the reinforced drag ensures consistent stopping power when it counts most. Lightweight, versatile, and robust, the Shimano Thunnus CI4 is built for anglers who demand both speed and strength in one elite spinning reel.
